Trimble Connect is a project collaboration platform catering to the construction industry. It enables project stakeholders to seamlessly share, comment on, and manage project documents, photos, drawings, and 3D models through cloud-based storage, facilitating collaboration across the various phases of a project, including design, construction, and operation. The platform allows for convenient access to information across Desktop, Web, or Mobile environments based on the stakeholder’s role or tasks.

The Trimble Connect Mobile App offers a user-friendly interface tailored to professionals operating in remote or field settings like construction sites, manufacturing facilities, or during project meetings and presentations. This application provides immediate access to specific task-related information that has been organized using Trimble Connect for Web or Desktop. Users can store project data locally on the mobile app for offline use in scenarios where internet connectivity is limited. The app also allows for the creation and modification of new Tasks (referred to as ToDos) offline, with synchronization to the cloud occurring once an internet connection is reestablished.

A standout feature of the Trimble Connect Mobile App is its advanced 3D model viewer. This viewer supports the loading and navigation of large, detailed construction models generated from diverse Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications in various formats (IFC, SKP, RVT, DWG, etc.) in a highly efficient manner.
